We use technology, engineering know-how, and asset management techniques to unlock dormant capital and reduce operating costs in a large business. It all begins with an energy audit.

An energy audit will establish a baseline for energy costs and provide a good indication of how existing energy inefficiencies and practices impact the company’s bottom line. Once a baseline is established, our engineers get to work to reduce wastage and energy costs and compare the various return on investment profiles of each option.

Energy savings options can save anything from 10% to 40% on current energy usage, and in the case of lighting replacements, some clients (where they have extensive 24/7 lighting needs) can save as much as 60% to 70%.

Clients that combine lighting with refrigeration and air-conditioning usage across many locations are the prime candidates for reducing power bills.

Cost of energy, and therefore the operating cost of any business can be reduced significantly. Each situation is different however, and must be designed according to the client’s policies on Occupational Health and Safety, prime site retail requirements, design and aesthetics etc.

During an energy audit, an engineer will typically interview the facility manager and inspect your lighting, air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment controls, refrigeration, air compressors, water consuming equipment, and anything else that is using energy, sometimes taking measurements of temperatures, pressures, lights levels, power draw and other parameters.
